Investigating Hispanic/Latino Health at Albert Einstein College of Medicine

One in six people in the U.S. is Hispanic/Latino, but little has been done to study the group’s health. Dr. Robert Kaplan, principal investigator of the landmark NIH-funded Hispanic Community Health Study/Study of Latinos (HCHS/SOL) at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, explains how the study aims to inform clinical care. Dr. Kaplan is professor of epidemiology & population health and the Dorothy and William Manealoff Foundation and Molly Rosen Chair in Social Medicine at Einstein. (January 13, 2015)
