Harry Shamoon, M.D., professor of medicine and associate dean for clinical and translational research, gives opening remarks and introduces panelists at the Community Health Series installment "Diabetes: Addressing the Epidemic Among Us." First speaker Rubina Heptulla, M.D., discusses the rapid rise in obesity among children and its impact on their health, including type 2 diabetes.
