The Transgenic
and Gene Targeting Facility of Albert Einstein College of Medicine is located
on the Jack and Pearl Resnick Campus in the
Price Building.
The Transgenic and Gene Targeting Facility was founded in 1988 to train and assist Cancer Center investigators in the production and characterization of transgenic and gene targeting mouse strains.

There are two main services, standard pronuclear microinjection to produce transgenic mice, and embryonic stem cell blastocyst injections to produce knock-out or knock-in mice.
In addition the facility provides embryo rederivation, IVF, sperm/embryo freezings etc.
