CELEBRATING 15 YEARS OF ECHO
The Einstein Community Health Outreach (ECHO) Free Clinic is a collaboration between the Institute for Family Health and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. The clinic provides free, high-quality, comprehensive health care to the uninsured population of the Bronx of New York City. The ECHO Free Clinic embraces the spirit of volunteerism and service embodied in our health care professionals and student volunteers.
This year marks ECHO's 15th anniversary. In honor of the past fifteen years of community outreach and patient care, we will be holding a celebration on February, 13, 2014. We hope that all alumni, students, and family and friends of ECHO will attend. To purchase a ticket or make a donation, please visit our event page: https://echoclinic.webconnex.com/echo
This event will serve as the kick-off for an annual fundraiser to raise money for services for our patients. If you are interested in helping us with fundraising or future event planning, please contact us at ECHOfundraising@gmail.com.
The clinic is open every Saturday morning from 9 am until 12 pm (except holidays). Please keep in mind that we are only able to serve those who do not currently have health insurance. This also means that we do not see children at this clinic, since all chlidren in the state of New York are eligible for Child Health Plus health insurance.
The ECHO Free Clinic accomplishes all that it does owing to generous grants from our donors, free and discounted services provided by local hospitals and medical establishments, the ongoing support of the Institute for Family Health and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and most importantly, our student and physician volunteers.
