PROTEIN PRODUCTION:

• Consultation on the expression, purification and handling of materials for crystallization and subsequent structure determination

CRYSTALLIZATION:

• Provision of all required expertise and instrumentation for initial screening and optimization of protein crystals

• Automation is available for crystallization in 96-well format, including a TECAN FREEDOM-2000 crystallization robot and a PHENIX crystallization robot

DATA COLLECTION AND STRUCTURE DETERMINATION:

• Expertise for all aspects of data collection, structure determination and refinement

• Equipped in-house with an RU-300 X-ray generator coupled to an R-Axis image plate detector with focusing optics and low temperature capabilities for cryogenic data collection

• Extensive access to a number of synchrotron X-ray sources at Brookhaven National Laboratory and the Advanced Photon Source
