The Albert Einstein College of Medicine supports a broad array of Shared Scientific Facilities and Cores designed to advance the research efforts of Einstein investigators. These Shared Facilities and Cores are operated by experienced personnel to provide researchers with access to a wide array of techniques and services requiring expensive instrumentation, specialized facilities and/or a high degree of expertise to perform. They are administered by various Einstein Centers and Departments.
To facilitate rapid access to these technologies, Shared Facilities and Cores maintain web sites describing the services they provide and how to access them. Links to these sites are grouped based on the research activities supported by the Shared Facilities and Cores.
The Office of Shared Scientific Resources also provides additional resources to assist investigators. In the menu at the top of this page, you will find links to our newsletter, information for accessing and using the iLab Core Management System, information for citing SIG instrumentation in our cores and an investigator resource page with language for describing cores/resources that is suitable for inclusion in grant applications under the Resources and Equipment section. The right column of this page contains links to core policies and a catalog with profiles of the cores and a summary of the services they offer. To quickly identify a Shared Resource performing a specific service, use the search for services box on the right.
