Research Fellow, Molecular and Cellular Biologist
A postdoctoral position is available at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the laboratory of Dr. Susan B. Horwitz and Dr. Hayley McDaid.
DUTIES: Maintain accurate laboratory records and data. Design molecular and cellular laboratory experiments, oversee their execution, and interpret results. Conduct research on cell organization and function including mechanisms of gene expression, cellular bioinformatics, cell signaling, and cell differentiation. Compile and analyze molecular or cellular experimental data and adjust experimental designs as necessary. Direct, coordinate, organize, and prioritize biological laboratory activities. Perform laboratory procedures following protocols including deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) sequencing, cloning and extraction, ribonucleic acid (RNA) purification, and gel electrophoresis. Develop assays that monitor cell characteristics. Supervise technical personnel and postdoctoral research fellows.
REQUIREMENTS; Ph.D. Degree in Molecular and Cell Biology or Biochemistry, plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or as a Postdoctoral Teaching Fellow. Please send C.V. plus names and contact number for (3) references to:
