Dr. Darwin Deen is a nationally-recognized family physician who has been studying and teaching nutrition for thirty years. He is Professor of Clinical Family and Social Medicine and Director of Medical Student Education in the Department of Family and Social Medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He is co-author of the Whole Grain Diet Miracle and Nutrition For Life, and is currently serving as Editor-In-Chief of the Complete Guide to Nutrition in Primary Care.
Dr. Deen believes that physicians must become role models to help patients improve their health by making significant diet and lifestyle changes. Dr. Deen incorporates nutrition into his practice of family medicine on a daily basis and recognizes the positive role that healthy eating and exercise play in preventing many medical problems.
