Developing a Program Logic Model

Date: Friday, August 07, 2020

Time: 9:00 AM To 10:30 AM

Location: VIA ZOOM

Event Description:

A logic model is a powerful tool that can be used to support the design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of your program or intervention. In addition, it is increasingly viewed as a key component of a successful grant proposal. Logic models graphically illustrate the theory of a program by showing the connections between your available resources, planned activities, and the outcomes you expect to achieve. During this session, Dr. Burton will assist the participants in constructing a logic model based on an appropriate antibiotic use case.

At the end of this session, participants will be able to:

•Identify the basic components of a logic model.

•Describe how a logic model can strengthen the planning, implementation, and evaluation of a program.

•Create a simple logic model based on a provided case.

Target Audience:
Faculty.

Speaker:
William Burton, Ph.D.
