Everything You Wanted to Know About Using SurveyMonkey

Date: Friday, April 20, 2018

Time: 9:00 AM To 11:00 AM

Location: Forchheimer 119N

Event Description:
Survey Monkey is a popular online survey tool that provides a user-friendly means of collecting information for improving programs, processes, and overall achievement. Whether you need to understand the factors that shape faculty satisfaction or feedback from students on a new course offering, online education surveys are a smart way to get open, honest feedback that would be difficult to get in any other way. Professors, students, teachers, and administrators can all benefit from professional education surveys. After taking this workshop, you will be able to: • Describe the different types of accounts • Navigate within the Survey Monkey environment • Create a simple survey • Add questions and pages • Use different methods of distributing your survey • Analyze data and print out reports • Utilize some advanced techniques, including skip patterns and response filtering The workshop will include a mix of didactics and hands-on activities.

Target Audience:
Due to space constraints, participation in workshops sponsored by the Office of Faculty Development is limited to individuals with faculty appointments at the medical school. Thank you for understanding.

Speaker:
