Professional Activity

As a family physician and an HIV specialist, Dr. Joy Kang's clinical focus is to provide well-coordinated comprehensive care to patients. As an osteopathic physician, osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT) is an additional tool she offers. As a teacher, her goal is to teach future physicians to provide comprehensive HIV care in the primary care setting.

Dr. Kang received the Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and the Master in Public Health from Nova Southeastern University. She completed Family Medicine Residency at Carle Foundation Hospital and Clinical HIV Fellowship at the University of Southern California.

Dr. Kang's professional interests are retention to care, integration of care and HIV in primary care.
