"If we knew what it was we were doing, it would not be called research, would it?"
—Albert Einstein
Nearly 200 top-level laboratories are available to PhD Program and MD-PhD Program students.
Faculty Research Poster Sessions, held the first week after orientation, offer the opportunity for students to meet with faculty to explore their research opportunities at Einstein. First-year students then complete three laboratory rotations before declaring a laboratory for their thesis research.
Einstein's shared core facilities support innovative research with specialized services, the most advanced research equipment, and highly skilled staff. These facilities provide faculty and staff with scientific resources that would otherwise be too expensive for a single laboratory or department to provide.
