Danny Reinberg, Ph.D. ‘82

HHMI Investigator (Howard Hughes Medical Institute) and Professor, Department of Biochemistry, New York University School of Medicine

PhD 1982 (Department of Developmental Biology and Cancer), Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University

Dr. Reinberg and his lab investigate the regulation of gene expression in higher eukaryotes, particularly the role of chromatin structure and the processes by which it is regulated. Most recently, his research has focused on chromatin-modifying complexes and the complex role of non-coding RNAs in establishing cellular identity.
