New Faculty Orientation, sponsored by The Graduate Division of Biomedical Sciences and the Office of Faculty Development, took place on Tuesday, September 14, 2010. Basic science and clinical faculty from our affiliates were invited, so the breadth and depth of our institution was apparent to newly hired faculty. This was a wonderful opportunity for new faculty to begin networking and to become aware of the many opportunities at Einstein.
The day started at 8:45am with a networking breakfast, followed by a brief welcome from our Executive Dean, Edward Burns. Presentations representing different interests of the faculty were offered by key Einstein faculty and staff. Discussions of the relationship with our affiliate institutions and the many teaching opportunities at Einstein followed. Dean Allen M.
