Date: Tuesday, January 15, 2013
Time: 1:00 PM To 3:00 PM
Location: Forchheimer Fifth Floor Lecture Hall
Event Description:
K-awards are a special breed of NIH grant. Four major contents areas contribute to the score: 1) the applicant, 2) the proposed science, 3) the mentor(s) and the proposed mentoring plan, and 4) the institutional commitment. For this Workshop, we will discuss what the reviewers are looking for in each of the content areas, so that you can decide how to present your credentials and experience in the strongest possible way. We will also focus on the Specific Aims page with an interactive session designed to help you present your proposal in a way that helps the reviewers to understand what you are planning to do and why.
