Event Description:
This workshop will introduce you to the basic features of Microsoft Excel 2010 and help you organize and present data effectively using spreadsheets. All participants will get hands-on experience in creating spreadsheets as the instructors orient participants to the Excel interface and various functions used to manage data. Specific skills covered will include:
• Worksheet basics
• Formatting cells, rows, and columns
• Organizing data using the sort, filter, and subtotal functions
• How to enter formulas and use basic mathematical functions
• Use of shortcut keys
• Printing options
• Saving for use with older Excel versions
