Time: 9:00 AM To 11:00 AM
Location: Forchheimer Building, Room 119N
Event Description:
There is an art to giving a presentation. The PowerPoint slides should support the lecture, not dominate the presentation. This series consists of three hands-on workshops where participants are provided practical tips for planning, creating and "enhancing" your next lecture using PowerPoint. Faculty members who attend will be able to incorporate these tips into their own presentations and lectures. The three sessions will be structured as follows:
Session 1: Nuts and bolts of PowerPoint (July 25, 2012);
Session 2: How to give a "pleasing" presentation (September 20, 2012);
Session 3: How to incorporate ARS in your presentation (November 28, 2012).
Target Audience:
All faculty
Speakers:
Dr. William Burton
