The laboratory of Dr. Saleem Nicola focuses on understanding the neural circuits underlying reward-seeking and addictive behaviors. Dr. Nicola uses a systems-level approach that combines behavioral, pharmacological and electrophysiological techniques in awake, freely moving animals.
