Areas of Research: We use induced pluripotent stem cell technology to study the molecular basis of schizophrenia and autism by RNA-seq and ChIP-seq. Patient-specific lines and isogenic knockout lines, generated by CRISP-Cas9 are used.

Areas of Research: We study single mRNA molecules from cradle to grave in single living cells using high resolution imaging. We develop trafficking microscopy and approaches to image RNA using fluorescent probes to visualize and quantify mRNA.
