Back to Roster

Farah Dosani’s interest in medicine started out behind a microphone and reporter’s notebook. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in both Journalism and Religious Studies from the University of Miami. She then worked full time as a multimedia reporter covering health and health care in Florida for NPR/PBS stations across the state. Her work has ranged from radio stories on lack of access to kids mental health care to a video documentary on caregivers of the terminally ill. She went back to school for medicine at University of Central Florida College of Medicine, graduating in 2016. Farah completed her intern year in internal medicine at Orlando Health in Orlando, FL. She then shifted north to the Bronx for her neurology residency here at Montefiore/Einstein. Her professional interests include radio journalism, neuro-infectious disease, and global neurology.
