Child Neurology Training Program
All applications for the child neurology residency positions must utilize the San Francisco Matching system . When your application is complete, you will be contacted by phone or e-mail to arrange a visit to the Department for interviews with our faculty, a tour of our main facility, Montefiore Medical Center, and an opportunity to meet with our residents. Interviews are conducted on selected Wednesdays from November through January.
Preliminary Year:
You must complete two years of training (PGY 2) of an ACGME approved training programs as follows: either two years of pediatric residency in U.S. or Canada; one year of pediatric residency and one year of either an acceptable basic neuroscience training or one year of PGY-1 in internal medicine before the residency.
The Division of Child Neurology is recognized nationally and internationally for its outstanding academic achievements. The prime goal of the division is to provide comprehensive care to children in the Bronx and its vicinity through its affiliated hospitals.
