Three Residents to Pioneer "Intensified Research Track"
This year, instead of a separate five-plus-year research track in the Internal Medicine Residency Program, the Department of Medicine is starting an "intensified research track" in which several residents, by a process of application and selection, are given block time in their PGY-2 (second) year to carry out research.
The three residents who will pioneer the intensified research track in 2011-2012 are:
- Purnema Madahar, Firm 3
- Julius Strauss, Firm 2
- Naeema Ginwala Hasan, Firm 3
