Nancy Sanchez-Caro Receives National Award
Nancy Sanchez-Caro, Director of Faculty Practice Billing for the Department of Medicine, has been designated by the Workgroup for Electronic Data Interchange (WEDI) Board of Directors as a recipient of the 2010 WEDI Award of Merit. This award recognizes individuals who have contributed in a meaningful way to the success of WEDI and/or WEDI SNIP programs and activities through their volunteer commitment and talents.
WEDI is a national organization dedicated to improving the administrative efficiency, quality, and cost effectiveness of healthcare through the implementation of business strategies for electronic record-keeping, and information exchange and management.
The award will be presented at the WEDI Annual Fall Conference in Reston, VA on Tuesday, November 9, 2010. James Schuping, WEDI Executive Vice President/CEO, wrote, "WEDI’s success and core strength is its membership and the countless hours of volunteer time of members, and we wanted to express our sincere appreciation for Nancy's support of her valued participation in the activities of our association."
