Laura J. Guderian, M.D.
Professional Interests
Dr. Laura Guderian rejoined Montefiore as core Primary Care and Social Internal Medicine (PC/SM) faculty in 2010, after a four-year absence. After completing her residency in Internal Medicine at Montefiore in 2006, Dr. Guderian spent one year in Botswana as the Family Clinic Director in the Clinical Center of Excellence in Gaborone. Returning the United States in 2007, she completed fellowship in Infectious Diseases and Preventive Medicine & Epidemiology at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill.
Dr. Guderian received her undergraduate degree in 1999 from Louisiana State University, and her Doctor of Medicine from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. At Montefiore's PC/SM program, she is the Clinical HIV Site Director at the Comprehensive Health Care Center. Her interests include HIV, tropical and travel medicine, and public health.
