Lisa J. Reeves, M.D.
Dr. Reeves is a primary care general internist at the Comprehensive Family Care Center (CFCC) of the Montefiore Medical Group and is on faculty at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. In addition to seeing patients, she teaches and provides direct oversight of Montefiore medical and gynecology residents during their outpatient clinical rotations in medicine clinic. Her clinical / teaching interests include the doctor-patient relationship, geriatrics, and caring for patients with co-morbid psychiatric disease. She also has a specialization in caring for patients who hoard. She is one of the founding members of the Einstein LGBT Steering Committee, which was formed in 2011 to help improve the overall climate for LGBTQ staff, faculty, residents, students and patients in the Einstein and Montefiore community.
She is a graduate and former Chief Resident of the NYU/Bellevue Primary Care Internal Medicine Residency Program (1994-1998), and worked as a clinician-educator at the New York Presbyterian Hospital (Columbia Campus) and at the Callen Lorde Community Health Center before joining Montefiore.
