Professional Interests
My professional interests at present are mainly focused on two major topics of endocrinology, Type 2 DM and Obesity which are both escalating and are serious public health challenges not only in the Bronx but throughout the world. I treat patients with Type 2 DM and I am also the co-investigator for the glycemic arm for the Jacobi site of the ACCORD trail (Actions to Control Cardiovascular Risks in Diabetes).
