Blecher Receives Travel Fellowship Award
Fourth-year medical student Karin Blecher received the distinguished Albert Kligman M. Kligman Travel Fellowship Award to deliver a presentation at the annual Society for Investigative Dermatology in Phoenix, AZ on May 7, 2011. Her presentation is entitled, "TWEAKing the inflammatory cascade: the TWEAK/Fn14 pathway as a potential therapeutic target for cutaneous lupus."
Blecher's work represents a collaborative first between the Division of Dermatology, through her mentor, Dr. Adam Friedman, Director of Dermatologic Research, and through Dr. Chaim Putterman, Chief of the Division of Rheumatology.
