The Einstein-Montefiore Cough Center is one of few in the country and the only specialized cough treatment center in New York State. Einstein-Montefiore's academic medical specialists specialize in quick relief of chronic cough, often identifying the source of the problem from symptoms alone and recommending a course of treatment during the patient's first office visit.
Montefiore is taking a leading role in much of the ongoing research on chronic cough. We participate in studies to understand the mechanisms of coughing and to test more effective forms of cough suppression and cure.
