Einstein IRB Online Application System

The Einstein IRB began using new IRB software, iRIS, in 2013. Using iRIS, researchers are able to electronically submit their protocols and related materials to the IRB. Before submission, the system checks the transactions for errors and omissions. The attachment feature, electronic routing and electronic signatures enable this process to be paperless. Use of iRIS is now required for all submissions.

Training Schedule

We are offering two types of sessions. All sessions are optional.  

  • For iRIS training sessions, please see below.
  • Drop-in sessions provide researchers an opportunity to work on their applications with IRB staff available to assist with any questions that arise are available upon request. Contact to schedule one.
