Einstein IRB Online Application System
The Einstein IRB is rolling-out the new IRB software, iRIS. Using iRIS, researchers are able to electronically submit their protocols and related materials to the IRB. Before submission, the system checks the transactions for errors and omissions. The attachment feature, electronic routing and electronic signatures enable this process to be paperless. At this time, use of iRIS is limited to the submission of new Exempt and Expedited applications.
Training Schedule
We are offering two types of sessions. All sessions are optional. Registration is preferred as space is limited.
- Training sessions will provide a foundation for using iRIS and includes an overview of basic IRB requirements.
- Drop-in sessions will provide researchers an opportunity to work on their applications with IRB staff available to assist with any questions that arise.
