For over 50 years, the Professional & Leadership Division of Albert Einstein College of Medicine has been providing philanthropic leadership to help advance the vital work of Einstein’s dedicated research scientists and physicians. The division’s annual Golf & Tennis Tournament and Dinner is our flagship fundraiser.
This year’s event honored Peter S. Duncan, who received the Albert Einstein Humanitarian Award, one of the College of Medicine’s most prestigious accolades. Mr. Duncan, a leading New York real estate executive, has been an active member of the Professional & Leadership Division since 2006.
Proceeds from the event benefited our current fundraising initiative: the Einstein Center for Experimental Therapeutics (CET). Investigators at the CET are conducting research studies aimed at better treatments for cancer, diabetes, heart disease, neurological disorders, and autoimmune and infectious diseases as well as certain rare diseases and disorders. Thanks to the generous support of P&L Division members and friends, we’re helping provide robotics technology and specialized laboratory equipment to enable these researchers to move ahead with their most promising projects.
