Upcoming Events

Cocktails & Comedy 2017 On Thursday, November 9, 2017, The Professional & Leadership Division of Albert Einstein College of Medicine will host its annual Cocktails & Comedy event at Feinstein’s 54 Below in New York City. Proceeds from this event will support the Price Family Foundation Fund for Translational Research. The Price Family Foundation is devoted to helping the most economically disadvantaged young people reach their fullest potential, advancing the field of medicine, and investing in promising approaches to treating diseases. Founded in 1997, the Price Family Foundation concentrates its grant-making on specific areas of medicine and on targeted low income communities.

At the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, the Price Family Foundation has established the Michael F. Price Center for Genetic and Translational Medicine, supported clinical and research units of the Children’s Evaluation and Rehabilitation Center, and created the Einstein Center for Experimental Therapeutics. At Montefiore Medical Center, the Foundation has supported the expansion of the Healthy Steps for Young Children program. Additional causes supported by the Price Family Foundation include Hot Bread Kitchen’s Bakers in Training Program, the College Success Program for low-income students from New York City AVID high schools, and the Strong Starts Court Initiative to expedite family court cases. Michael F. Price is on the Board of Trustees of Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

"Pediatric research and scientific discoveries make miracles possible. Pediatric investigators at Einstein and CHAM are developing novel vaccines to prevent life-threatening infectious diseases; discovering new therapies for bone tumors and leukemia; and studying ways to improve outcomes for our most fragile neonates. Your support for The Price Family Foundation Fund for Pediatric Translational Research enables this life-saving research, ensuring medical breakthroughs that will improve the lives of children in our own communities and across the world."
Judy Aschner, M.D. Professor of Pediatrics; Michael I. Cohen, M.D. University Chair, Albert Einstein College of Medicine; Physician-in-Chief, The Children’s Hospital at Montefiore
