The shRNA Core Facility provides reagents, expertise, and infrastructure to enable RNAi-based loss-of-function studies at scales ranging from individual genes to genome scale. The facility houses four genome-wide arrayed shRNA libraries targeting human and mouse genes, state-of-the-art robotics to enable high-throughput lentivirus production, and high-content assay equipment for arrayed screen readouts. Selection-based screens using pooled shRNA libraries are also supported. In addition, human and mouse ORF libraries are available for gain-of-function studies or rescue experiments. Expert core scientists are available to assist in planning and carrying out successful RNAi-based experiments.
