Title: "Hands-on Brain-engaged Guide to a Specific Aims Section"
Date: Monday, January 14, 2013
Time: 4:00 PM
Event Information:

Every grant mechanism has a short ( generally one page) section where the applicant is asked to present his/her "specific aims", "objectives", "goals for the project period", etc. This is the single most important page in the grant application. It is the page that most reviewers read first and from which they form, therefore, their first impression. The goal of this Workshop is to help applicants understand how to make the best possible first impression. Each participant will put his/her pen to paper before and after a coaching session that is designed to show you how to make your thoughts and ideas clear and understandable to even the densest reviewer!
