Exuberant smiles lit up the Van Etten lobby during the annual holiday party held by Einstein's Children's Evaluation and Rehabilitation Center (CERC) on December 13. Every year, CERC staff members host the center's clients and their families, to providing a bit of cheer and a lot of holiday fun.
Approximately 295 children and their families took part in games and created colorful holiday crafts along with CERC staff, Einstein volunteers, community group members and donors. Children also met with Santa and Mrs. Claus, got their faces painted, decorated holiday cards and played beanbag toss, in addition to an assortment of other fun activities, all of which provided opportunities for the children to practice newly learned skills in a social and community-based setting.
All of the excitement and merriment could not have been delivered without the hard work and tireless devotion of the CERC staff and the charitable volunteers from within Einstein and its surrounding community.
