More than 8,000 Einstein M.D., M.D.-Ph.D. and Ph.D. graduates serve the nation as leading physicians, medical educators and biomedical scientists. Since its inception in 1962, the Einstein Alumni Association has provided support and assistance to the College of Medicine and its students, with emphasis on scholarships and improving the quality of student life.
An important aspect of the Einstein Alumni Association is outreach to current students through a variety of programs and events, including the Alumni Career Network which connects students with graduates for career advice. In addition, throughout the year, reunions, regional events and on-campus alumni events allow alumni to reconnect with the College of Medicine and one another. And alumni are kept abreast of news about the College of Medicine and their classmates through Einstein magazine, the biweekly Einstein Connection e-newsletter, and information reflected on this page.

Class of 2017 Fall Student Ceremonies
Einstein transition ceremonies are an integral part of the student experience. The Einstein Alumni Association gives you the opportunity to participate in this tradition through your gift of white coats, stethoscopes and scrubs. This practice fosters the connection between current students and the Alumni Association.
Thursday, August 15, 2013- “On Becoming a Physician” program was held, featuring the White Coat Ceremony - the symbolic beginning of the journey for medical students at Einstein. Each student will be "cloaked" with a White Coat by an alumnus in the presence of their families, classmates and Einstein faculty and leadership.
Monday, September 9, 2013- the Stethoscope Ceremony included a presentation of a Littman Cardiology 3 Stethoscope by a representative of the Alumni Association. First year students will use them as they begin their physical exam courses in the Ruth L. Gottesman Clinical Skills Center in the renovated Van Etten building.
Wednesday, October 2, 2013- Scrubs Day, first year students will receive a pair of anatomy scrubs in a color exclusive to their class as they begin their Anatomy course. Scrubs Day is eagerly anticipated by the first-year students each year and is a tradition unique to Einstein.
These programs mark significant milestones in the education of our students, and with your special gift, you can play a role. There are several options for support; please choose the one that works best for you. We will include your business card with each sponsored item.
Please complete online form and provide your business card to the Einstein Alumni Office: 1300 Morris Park Avenue, Block Building, Room 702, Bronx, NY 10461.
